How we work

1. Data and insight

We know that getting a holistic view is essential. That’s why we use as many sources of our clients data as possible, including analytics, user testing, session recording and previous test learnings.

By doing this we are able to paint a more complete picture of not only what is happening on a website but also why it's happening. The "what" tends to come from the quantitative data, and the "why" from the qualitative data. It’s only with this “what” and “why” combined that you begin to form a valid hypothesis.

2. Roadmap prioritisation

Anyone can have a test idea. The key is turning it into a hypothesis that can be measured and creating a prioritised backlog.

We use a five-tier prioritisation calculation to determine the best roadmap for you, focusing on commercial benefit, customer benefit and strategic relevance. This roadmap is underpinned by our key agile principles that provide the ability to pivot when required in order to gain the maximum testing output.

3. Design

This is when the idea really comes to life. We are specialists in creating high impact test variations for each hypothesis.

The key is in the detail, which is why we always create a standardised test brief to base the designs upon for every hypothesis. From this, our designers have everything they need to be able to create a number of high quality variations, working closely with the developers to understand feasibility and associated technical requirements.

4. Build + Test

Once the designs are finalised, our specialist developers build the variations within the testing platform and ensure they’re launched to the right level of quality.

Users are looking for simple and easy online experiences, with a small technical bug having a huge impact on their willingness to return. This is why our developers are focused not only on building the tests, but also completing a strict QA process to ensure the test runs smoothly and the data captured is accurate. Once live, our team continue to closely monitor the test so that it remains problem-free.

5. Analysis + Segmentation

Every test is an amazing opportunity to learn more about your customers. Sometimes it’s insights that you did not even anticipate.

We are experts in interpreting data and providing actionable insights to improve your customer experience. We provide weekly updates throughout the test period on key test performance indicators, followed by a detail conclusion report at the end of each test. This report determines the success of the hypothesis, provides trends in the data captured and determines the next best steps.
